Smiley: Lost in My Own Universe Continues at The London West Hollywood
I’m really happy to keep Smiley: Lost in My Own Universe going for a little longer at The London West Hollywood with Bailey Wick Gallery.
This show is a mix of new paintings, mixed-media works, and pieces from my ongoing Smiley Soup series. A lot of it comes from the things that have stayed with me over the years, like movies, childhood imagery, pop culture, memory and the strange emotional weight certain images can carry long after we first encounter them.
The opening was such a special night. So many friends and amazing people from the Los Angeles creative community came through, and the response to the work has been incredibly meaningful to me.
I also know a lot of people weren’t able to make the opening, so before the exhibition closes in early October, we’re doing another cocktail evening this Thursday, September 24, from 6–10 PM.
If you’re outside Los Angeles, we can also arrange a private online viewing room through Bailey Wick Gallery, with additional views of the work.
Private appointments at The London can also be arranged for anyone who would prefer to see the exhibition outside the event.
